Community Benefit Report

MaineHealth and our member organizations work together to offer a wide range of community programs focused on disease management, prevention and population health, free of charge, and no one is ever denied care because of inability to pay.

In 2015, the MaineHealth system provided more than $399 million in community health programs and services without reimbursement or other compensation. Each year we produce the Community Benefit Report not only to provide the facts and figures reflecting that substantial investment in our communities, but also to share just a few of the unique stories about the people and families whose lives are touched by the MaineHealth community of care.
