This WOW! Health & Wellbeing program is available to all MaineHealth employees and their spouses/partners.
Tune into your natural instincts to manage your eating in a mindful, healthy way – without restrictive diets or obsessing over every bite. In eight weeks, this program will transform the way you think about food.
What will I learn in this program?
Your trained facilitator will help you:
Use hunger and satiety to guide your eating
Eat the foods you love without overeating or guilt
Balance eating for nourishment with eating for enjoyment
Resolve mindless and emotional eating
Care for your body, mind, heart, and spirit.
What is the in-person meeting format?
Groups will range in size from 6 to 14 people. All eight interactive and engaging workshops are 60 minutes long and held once a week. Some reading is required.
