If you’re suffering from a non-healing wound, you’re not alone. Every year, chronic or difficult-to-heal wounds caused by congested veins, poor circulation, diabetes, trauma, or other conditions keep many people from doing the things they love to do.
In these cases, healing becomes a complicated process requiring exceptional treatment and care.
Recognizing the unique wound care needs of some its patients, Franklin Memorial Hospital's Wound Care Center offers treatments such as specialized wound dressings, compression therapy, antibiotic therapy for infections, negative pressure wound vacuum therapy, contact casting and other off-loading footwear, as well as a full range of diagnostic services to manage the evaluation and treatment of these challenging wounds. After a complete and thorough review of your medical history and evaluation of your wound, we will carefully design a treatment plan with some of the most advanced treatment options available.
Dr. Gerald Tinguely, physician assistant Tim Davis, PA-C, and registered nurses trained in wound care, provide advanced therapies for many wound types including diabetic, vascular (venous and arterial), surgical, traumatic (lacerations and burns), infected, and pressure related. Services are provided Monday through Friday and we are located on the hospital's second floor with convenient elevator access.
If you have a wound that isn’t getting better, is getting worse, or keeps coming back, contact your primary care provider to see if our specialty wound care services are right for you.
