Signs of Hope

Thank you for attending Signs of Hope!

This year's Signs of Hope held at the home of Sherri and Joe Boulos was a stunning success thanks to the many generous Host Committee members who made it possible. We were privileged to hear Wendi O'Donovan speak about her adult son with autism, which highlighted the need in Maine to develop services for adults with developmental disorders. To that end, it was with great excitement that Dr. Matthew Siegel, VP of Medical Affairs, Autism and Developmental Disorders Services, announced the Girard E. Robinson Adult Program in Autism, Depression and Developmental Disorders. This groundbreaking program, which represents a major step as we develop services for adults with autism, was made possible by a very generous gift by Judy and Leonard Lauder and is named in honor of Dr. Girard Robinson, who was instrumental in bringing the Developmental Disorders Unit to Spring Harbor Hospital over a decade ago.
