Community Education & Health Programs

We are committed to the health and wellbeing of our community. We are pleased to offer several community education and health programs to our community ranging from high school students to people with disabilities. 

Maine Medical Explorers 

Medical Explorers is a nationwide program offering a variety of activities designed to encourage high school age students (grade 9-12) interest in healthcare. 

Project Medical Education

Project Medical Education is a one day, invitational education program designed to enhance Maine community leaders' and policy makers' knowledge and understanding of the essential role and value of residency and medical student education.

Contributing to the health and wealth of the community by supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment, is why we come to work each day.

Our Department of Vocational Services is a leader in the field of employment for people with disabilities. We also provide technical assistance and training to community rehabilitation agencies, employers and schools.
