Support groups provide a comfortable and safe environment where you can share your feelings and thoughts on a particular life experience. Memorial Hospital and other community health care facilities sponsor a variety of support groups.
A beginners meeting for those interested in sharing experiences with alcohol. Meets every Sunday from 3 pm-4 pm.
Breastfeeding Support Group
A weekly support group for mothers who are breastfeeding. Sponsored by Memorial Hospital's Family Birthing Center and facilitated by certified lactation specialists:Michelle Meader RN, IBCLC, CBE and Christine Haine, RN, CLC. All breastfeeding women are invited, regardless of where they gave birth. Babies and siblings are welcome, too!

Caregivers of those with Alzheimer's or Related Disorders
This support group offers education, support and coping skills for caregivers. Care is available for the family member while the caregiver attends the meeting. Please call to arrange this service in advance.

Diabetes Support Group
For diabetics and their support people. An opportunity for education and discussion with other people who have diabetes or are experiencing it in their family. For more information, call the Memorial Hospital Miranda Center for Diabetes at 603-356-0796.
Eating Disorders Support Group

Journey of Hope - Cancer Support Group
Since 1999, a vibrant group of around 20 cancer survivors have met monthly to provide wonderful support to one another. Whether you have been through cancer, or are going through it now, this is a great group of people to know. Information, education, speakers and encouragement are provided for those with cancer and their support people. This group is facilitated by an oncology certified nurse and social services providers.
When and where: Journey of Hope meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm - 8:30 pm in the Sun Room.
Loss & Recovery Support Group
Experience shows that a structured group aimed toward recovery from the loss of a loved one can significantly enhance a person’s quality of life. We invite you to join us. Group meetings are held on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30PM for 6 weeks in the LaRoche Great Room at VNHCH, 1529 White Mtn. Hwy, North Conway
