To provide a safe, caring, and compassionate environment to support individuals interested in improving their health and well-being through regular physical activity and health education.
Our Facility
Our friendly and professionally trained staff of physicians, registered nurses, exercise specialists, nutritionists, and physical therapists will work with you to develop an exercise and wellness plan that works for you. We offer personalized instructions in a structured and monitored group class setting.
Our facility includes treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, recumbent bicycles, NuStep machines, stationary/spinning bikes, rowing machine, arm ergometers, and a variety of weight training equipment. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
Cardiac Rehabilitation - AACVPR Certified
After hospitalization, this program is designed to strengthen your heart and help your recovery from recent heart surgery, valve replacement surgery, heart attack, stent/angioplasty, or heart transplant.
This program includes:
- Monitored exercise 2-3 times a week
- Health education to help you manage and improve cardiac risk factors
- Individual Care Plan
- Support from staff and other people recovering from a heart event
The program has received a three-year national certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), a rigorous accreditation process.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation - AACVPR Certified
After a diagnosis of lung disease such as COPD, this monitored exercise program meets two to three times a week and is designed to strengthen your heart and lungs with special focus on energy conservation and better breathing techniques to enhance your quality of life.
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program has met the strict standards and been awarded certifications through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
This program includes:
- Exercise to improve your overall physical fitness
- Breathing exercises to reduce shortness of breath
- Energy saving tips to improve your ability to do daily tasks
- Education about your lung disease and how best to manage your symptoms
- Support from staff and other people living with COPD
Pulmonary rehab can improve your quality of life, reduce hospital stays and help you manage your symptoms.
Fresh Start Wellness Program
This program is designated to help any individual who wants to improve stamina, strength, and flexibility. You will learn how to enhance your sense of well-being through health education.
Those with chronic health issues such as arthritis, chronic pain, diabetes, history of heart disease (PVD, CHF), orthopedic concerns, osteoporosis, and obesity are just a few who will benefit greatly through our gentle, individualized approach to exercise.
Exercise is medicine for our bodies and is highly effective in the prevention, treatment, and management of over forty common chronic health conditions.
