Yellow Tulip Project Ceremony Reducing Stigma

Started by a high school student who lost two friends to suicide, the Yellow Tulip Project brings hope.

Westbrook, Maine (Oct. 26, 2016): On Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 2:00 pm, Spring Harbor Hospital will hold a Yellow Tulip Project planting ceremony to raise awareness, break down stigma, and bring hope
to those who suffer with mental illness. Dr. Robert McCarley, Medical Director at Spring Harbor Hospital, will provide the opening remarks and Julia Hansen, the 16-year-old who founded the project,
will also speak.
