Thanks to the generosity of the staff at Southern Maine Health Care’s (SMHC) Pain Management offices in Kennebunk and Sanford, animals at the Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk had a very Merry Christmas!

Over the course of one month, the employees collected 774 items including food, toys, personal care items and a Pet Smart gift card to help ensure that animals waiting for adoption would be remembered during the holidays. The SMHC staff delivered:
3,875.7 ounces of pet food
206 pet toys
34 raw hide bones
12 collars
2 blankets
6 packages of training pads
6 cans of Lysol wipes
18 rolls of paper towels
$100 gift card to Pet Smart

“I’m so proud of our staff,” said Practice Manager Bethany Dymond. “In only four short weeks they collected 774 items to help animals in need at the Animal Welfare Society. I want to thank them personally for making this fundraiser such an enormous success.”
