SMHC Employees Help Make Holidays Bright for Families

December 29, 2017
Thanks to the generosity of Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) employees and members of the community, York County families in need received Christmas gifts for their children through Maine Families.

"The Maine Families staff would like to thank all of the Southern Maine Health Care employees that donated items to families in need during this holiday season," said Tracee Golet, MS, CLC, CEIM, director of Maine Families York County. "It was evident that there was a lot of thought put into each item that was donated and because of the generosity of all the employees and departments that participated, 116 children had the opportunity to unwrap gifts that they would enjoy and benefit from this holiday season.  We would like to recognize Gina Mosher, Sue Hadiaris, Ellen Therrien, Amy Dobson, Karen Lemery, Patti Kasmarek, Betty-Ann Guay, Claudia Grandy, Tracey Foss, Jenney Corbeil,  Casey Marcotte and Girl Scout Troop 978, Paula Landry, Kerry Hanson, and the staff within the following departments: Pulmonary Practice, Kennebunk Pediatrics, Finance, Physician's Services, Rehabilitation Services, Quality, Podiatry, Neurology, and Biddeford Pediatrics for making sure that families within our program have a wonderful holiday season."
