BIDDEFORD, Maine – October 15, 2018 – Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) was presented with the Non-Profit Business of the Year Award by the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel (KKA) Chamber at their annual meeting. Incoming KKA Chamber President Becky Jacobs presented the award to SMHC CEO Nate Howell. The award recognizes a non-profit organization which, through the efforts of staff and volunteers, has made a significant contribution in their domain, through fund raising, employing innovative business concepts to create a flourishing environment in which all businesses can grow.

“The KKA Chamber is proud to bestow the Non-Profit Business of the Year Award upon Southern Maine Health Care for its commitment to the people of York County, for its exemplary patient care, and for being an economic driving force in the community,” said KKA Chamber President Becky Jacobs.
