Newcastle-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM-Viper and the dealership’s president, Randy Miller, recently became the first community partner to be recognized with the LincolnHealth President’s Award in response to the dealership’s extraordinary help during a recent winter storm.
Jim Donovan, LincolnHealth President, cited Miller’s organization for going above and beyond to help patients, hospital visitors and LincolnHealth colleagues. The award is traditionally given to LincolnHealth employees.
“Randy Miller and his team are dedicated to serving our community,” said Donovan. “Just before a snow storm in January, our maintenance team noticed an electrical issue with one of our plows. Although the Newcastle Chrysler service team’s schedule was booked, they fit the plow truck in and fixed it before the storm arrived. They wanted to help ensure the hospital parking lot was plowed and safe.”
This was not the first time Miller’s team went above and beyond to help the hospital.
Recently, Newcastle-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM-Viper graciously donated the use of a van for six months to help transport LincolnHealth employees from staff parking lots to their respective buildings during inclement weather. With the opening of the Herbert & Roberta Watson Health Center, LincolnHealth is currently working on long term parking solutions for employees.
“We are fortunate to have so many dedicated community partners who make Lincoln County such a great place to live,” commented Donovan.
