SMHC Tree of Life Event Offers a Way to Honor and Remember Loved Ones

November 18, 2019

doves 450Join Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) on December 3, 2019 at 5:00 pm, in the Biddeford Medical Center main lobby, to remember and honor your loved ones by hanging a personalized dove on the tree at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Baked goods and holiday music will round out the evening.

By making a gift of any size, each donor to the Tree of Life fundraiser will receive a paper dove of their own to dedicate and decorate. And if you choose, the decorated doves will be displayed at the event. The name of your loved one will be read aloud during the ceremony followed by the lighting of the trees outside of the hospital’s main entrance to remember and honor those who have touched our lives. You are then invited to bring your dove home with you as a keepsake.

To make a gift and purchase your personalized dove, please contact SMHC’s Development Office at 207-283-7251 or visit smhc.org/dove. For over three decades, all gifts directly support life-saving patient care in SMHC’s Emergency Departments in Biddeford and Sanford.
