Affordable Care Act Education and Enrollment Help
What is the Health Insurance Marketplace?
The Health Insurance Marketplace is where people can compare health coverage options and sign up for health insurance, as a result of the Affordable Care Act. More than 75,000 Mainers had health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace in 2016 and 85% received financial assistance to make the plans more affordable.
For more information on the Health Insurance Marketplace, visit healthcare.gov or call 1-800-318-2596 (24 hours a day).
