Biography

I completed my residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where I served as chief resident in General Surgery. I completed two years of research and fellowship training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. I have particular interest and expertise in Carotid Disease, Aortic Aneurysms and lower extremity blockages with an emphasis on endovascular and minimally invasive procedures.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, I was appointed Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. Recently my main emphasis has been on quality assessment and outcomes research. I have been an invited Visiting Professor at University of Utah, Tufts University and Yale University. I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family.
