Public Health & Flu Update

The flu vaccine for the 2017-2018 season is now widely available, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention. The flu shot is recommended for all people older than six months. It takes about two weeks after getting the flu shot for it to take full effect, according to the CDC. Talk to your MaineHealth provider about making an appointment to get a vaccination.
