Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM)

Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), also known as Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), emphasizes the inter-relationships of the body’s nerves, muscles, bones, and organs. Doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs) practice a "whole person" approach to health care to determine how disturbances in one system are impacting function elsewhere in the body. DOs are trained to identify and correct structural problems, which can assist your body’s natural tendency toward health and self-healing.
