Benjamin S Nelson, MD

I did my medical school training at Boston University and completed my residency at Boston Medical Center. Of all my rotations, I found I was drawn to surgery the most – patients come in with a specific problem and I like that I’m able to solve it surgically and leave them feeling better right away. I enjoyed my time in the city but was ready to move to an area with a slower pace. When the opportunity arose to practice in coastal Maine, my family and I were excited to make the move. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, reading and spending time with my wife and our daughter.
