Making it easier to manage your care
Did you know that MaineHealth can send text message reminders and notifications directly to your cell phone?
MaineHealth patients can reduce phone calls and paper mail by signing up to receive appointment, registration and billing notifications via text message.
MaineHealth text messages can help you:
- Confirm or cancel appointments: Manage your care quickly and easily from your cell phone
- Complete registration before a visit: Get notified when online registration is available, complete forms, confirm insurance, and update medications
- View and pay your bill online: We'll remind you when an upcoming payment is due
About MaineHealth Text Messages
If you signed a MaineHealth cell phone consent form, you may have already received text messages from us. We only send text messages if you have:
- Given us permission by signing our cell phone consent form
- Indicated that texting is your preference
If you do not consent to receive MaineHealth text messages, you will continue to receive a voice call.
If you are interested in receiving text messages, ask to sign the cell phone consent form at your next MaineHealth appointment.
