Problems Urinating or have BPH?
For men affected by BPH, a common non-cancerous condition that occurs when the prostate enlarges as one ages obstructing urine flow, Dr. Richard Batstone offers a hospital-based gold standard minimally invasive surgical procedure called HoLEP. This procedure uses a high-power laser to remove obstructive tissue from any size prostate. Patients normally return home the same day and the recovery period is shorter when compared to other traditional prostate surgical methods.
If you are bothered by frequent urination, slow urinary stream, a sensation of not emptying the bladder, or frequently getting up at night to urinate—get back in control of your life. Ask your primary care provider if your prostate condition could benefit from the HoLEP procedure.
Monday through Thursday: 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.–noon
Starting May 1, Isaac Ball, PA-C, will provide new patient appointments every Tuesday at the Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center located at 21 Main Street in Livermore Falls. Please 779-1977 for appointments at either location.
Access to a patient portal is given to all Franklin Health patients with computer access. A patient portal is a secure online website that gives patients convenient 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. Patient portals enhance patient-provider communication, empower patients, support care between visits and, most importantly, improve patient outcomes.
Franklin Memorial Hospital is transitioning to a new online patient portal called MyChart on March 2, 2019. MyChart, a free secure website that lets you see your health information online. It will allow you to:
Request and manage your appointments
Review your health summary
View your lab or test results
Communicate securely with your care team
Request prescription refills
Make an online payment
At your next scheduled appointment after March 2, you will receive an activation code and instructions for enrolling in MyChart/
The MyChart customer support team can be reached 24 hours a day at 855-255-2300 (toll-free).
We encourage you to sign up for MyChart. In the meantime you can still access the Franklin Health Urology patient portal.
