SMHC Offering Free Mammograms for Women Without Insurance in October

BIDDEFORD, Maine – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC) is offering free mammograms to women in the community age 40 or older without active breast problems who do not have insurance. Screenings will be held on October 8 and October 9 at the following locations:

October 8
SMHC Biddeford Medical Center
1 Medical Center Drive, Biddeford
Center for Breast Care
2:45 – 6:00 p.m.

October 9
Goodall Medical Office Building
25A June Street, Sanford
1:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Registration is required and appointments are available on a first come, first served basis. Please call 207-283-7823 to schedule your free appointment.
