    Infusion therapy is offered in office for those patients under the care of Dr. Gramas who require IV medication for their disease. Our RN is trained in IV therapy and works with Dr. Gramas along with our certified MA, to provide compassionate care for all patients.

    At Pen Bay Rheumatology we offer the only DEXA testing in Knox County with the Hologic Discovery machine. These scans are perform by our x-ray technologist for the past 15 years.

    With a referral from your doctor, this test scans the hip and spine to check for thinning of bones. It takes about 20 minutes and there is no prep required.

    Pen Bay Rheumatology includes our physician Deirdre Gramas, MD, one infusion registered nurse, one medical assistant, two receptionists, an x-ray technician and an office coordinator.

    An additional physician, Mary Moran, MD is available some Fridays in the Pen Bay Rheumatology office. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Moran, please call her office in Belfast at 207-930-6772.

    Most insurances are accepted. Co-payments are required at the time of your visit.

    Pen Bay Rheumatology, the office of Deirdre Gramas, MD, is not on the campus of Pen Bay Medical Center. We are located in Oakland Commons, which is located at 817 Commercial Street, Rockport. The Oakland Commons complex are the yellow buildings just north of the entrance to Pen Bay Medical Center.

    From the south

    Come to the light at Pen Bay Medical Center. Do not turn left or right. Go through the light about 500 feet and turn left into Oakland Commons. When you enter the parking lot turn right and you will see our building in front of you. No number on the building just a sign that says Pen Bay Rheumatology.

    From the north

    Pass the CedarWorks on your right and take your next right. (it comes up very quickly). When you enter the parking lot turn right and you will see our building in front of you. No number on the building just a sign that says Pen Bay Rheumatology.
