John K Birknes
I enjoy working closely with patients and their families. Whether a complex spine surgery, a brain tumor or any other neurosurgical case, long-term outcomes are considered carefully; I advocate for a whole body, multidisciplinary approach whenever possible. Transparent, honest communication is one of my guiding principles as a physician, and I listen carefully to patients. In my free time, my wife and I are busy with our three daughters. We enjoy cooking together, playing many sports, throwing the ball for our dog and visiting with our large, extended family.
