Pediatric Lung Care | Pulmonology

MaineHealth Pediatric Specialty Care Portland and MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children's Hospital (MHBBCH) offer comprehensive pulmonary care for newborns, children and young adults with respiratory disorders - from routine conditions to the most complex. Our goal is to provide outstanding care while educating patients and families about lung conditions and symptom management.

The largest pediatric lung care team in Northern New England

Our care team is made up of board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric pulmonary specialists, nurse practitioners and registered nurses with advanced training in asthma education. We have access to the most advanced diagnostic resources to quickly and accurately identify pediatric pulmonary disorders.

MHBBCH is part of a national network of pediatric cystic fibrosis (CF) centers accredited by the CF Foundation for high standards of patient care, research and education. We treat more cystic fibrosis patients at our pediatric cystic fibrosis clinic than any other facility in Northern New England. We also offer the region’s only multidisciplinary aerodigestive clinic for children with complex problems affecting the airway, pulmonary function and the GI tract.
