IOP helps people recover from serious substance use disorders. Many IOP participants are transitioning from hospital-based care or a partial hospitalization program for substance use disorder. Services can be customized to meet each client's unique needs.

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides partial hospitalization services for adults who are too ill to attend traditional outpatient therapy, but do not require hospitalization. Partial hospitalization services can help patients transition back into the community after a psychiatric hospitalization.
