Franklin Health Medical Arts Center

banner mmc tobacco freeThe Franklin Health Medical Arts Center houses Franklin Health Farmington Family Practice, Pediatrics, Women’s Care, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Behavioral Services medical practices, as well as the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center. Nonclinical departments on the lower level include Patient Financial Services, Health Information Management, and Quality.

The Center, which opened in 2008, features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, a fieldstone fireplace, and large windows facing the Healing Gardens. The main design theme for the interiors was to bring elements of the outside environment inside the building to enhance the healing process. Whether it’s the natural stone and wood finishes of the main lobby, the beautiful murals throughout, or the color palettes, the nature theme is reinforced.

Nestled into a tall grove of pines, the Center has a lodge type atmosphere reminiscent of the fly fishing camps of the early 1900s. The building, despite its medical nature, is a celebration of quintessential Maine and the outdoors.

Patient Portal

Access to a patient portal is given to all Franklin Health primary care patients with computer access. A patient portal is a secure online website that gives patients convenient 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. Using a secure user name and password, patients can view their test results, office visit summaries, medication list, and request prescription refills and appointments. Patient portals enhance patient-provider communication, empower patients, support care between visits and, most importantly, improve patient outcomes.
