The Youth Peer Support Statewide Network (YPSSN) is a youth and young adult mental health support community. Participants provide mutual support with a focus on connection and self determination. All Maine youth are welcome for YPSSN groups and events. There is no cost or insurance required.

About Our Groups & Events
What: This is an opportunity to give and receive support from others. This group welcomes sharing about experiences that are sometimes hard to talk about such as confusing or extreme thoughts/beliefs, thoughts of suicide, hearing voices, or seeing visions. In this group we invite perspectives that might be different from the traditional model found in many treatment programs. Two peer support partners will facilitate the group, both of whom identify with having personally struggled with some of these experiences.

When: Mondays 4-5 pm - New date and time!
What: This group is for all folks 14-26 to bring experiences, challenges, and celebrations. It will be shaped by attendees and whatever folks want and need to talk about. This could range from sharing our mental health challenges to sharing how our days went.

Portland Drop-In
What: Check out the drop in for games, arts and crafts, movies, and to connect with fellow peers to create your own activities!
Where: Portland Drop-In Center, 165 Lancaster Street, Portland
Who: Ages 14-26 that have self identified mental health and/or substance use challenges
