Evergreen Behavioral Services: A Division of Maine Behavioral Healthcare
Evergreen Behavioral Services (EBS) staff work with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and primary care providers to provide individuals with integrated care. To access these services, please call 207-779-2398 during regular business hours.
Behavioral Health Home and Case Management
Serving both children and adults, EBS staff help individuals access a wide range of mental and physical health resources and services. Using a collaborative, patient-centric approach, our case managers work with each individual to assess their unique needs and develop a tailored care plan to address those needs.
Mental Health Counseling
There are times when we all could use a little help. Whether you (or a family member) are struggling with relationship transitions, or learning how to manage depression or anxiety, Evergreen clinicians are here to help. Our outpatient team is experienced in acute and chronic mental health issues. Our goal is to assist you in achieving stability.
Substance Abuse Services
Substance abuse services begin with an assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. After this assessment we will discuss our treatment recommendations with you. You may be referred for: Individual Counseling or Intensive Outpatient Programming. Our goal is to work with you to develop skills and strategies that enable you to achieve and maintain a healthy, drug-free, lifestyle.
Driver Evaluation Education Program (DEEP)
Evergreen Behavioral Services is a contracted provider for DEEP. Once your paperwork has been received by this office, we will call you to schedule an appointment. Evaluations consist of two to four sessions and often include a family member. Treatment consists of six to twelve sessions (or more).
Emergency Mental Health Services
When immediate help is needed, our qualified crisis providers are available to offer support and talk through the situation. The location of emergency mental health meetings is determined by many factors, with patient safety as the top priority. Once the initial crisis has been resolved, crisis staff can offer up to five stabilization sessions to provide ongoing support for 30 days.
