Glickman Symposium Asks "Why Not Zero Suicides?"

The 10th Annual Glickman Family Center for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Symposium was held at MaineHealth on September 15th, 2017. This educational retreat focused on the prevention of suicide in Maine.

Heroes with Heart Thanks to our Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) volunteers, Heroes with Heart honorees, generous sponsors, donors and guests and all of those who helped make our 13th annual Heroes with Heart Celebration on April 5th, 2017 a feel-good, fun event and a wonderful success. The event raised more than $30,000 for TIP's services.

Signs of Hope Close to 200 friends and donors gathered at the annual Signs of Hope event held on July 19th, 2017 to celebrate the Lunder Family Alliance (LFA). This event allowed donors, community leaders, and other interested people to talk about the importance of the services provided at Maine Behavioral Healthcare and Spring Harbor Hospital. Melissa and Matthew Rubel graciously hosted the event which raised more than $190,000 to benefit the Alliance.

Drive Against Child Abuse Golf Tournament The 26th Annual Drive Against Child Abuse Golf Tournament took place on August 25, 2017 at Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The event raised more than $36,000, which will help increase access to behavioral healthcare programs for children in need throughout our state – regardless of their ability to pay.
