Our Categorical Diagnostic Radiology residency training is five years, composed of one clinical year of Internal Medicine, followed by four years of diagnostic radiology. The diagnostic radiology curriculum consists of 20 weeks of neuroradiology, 10 weeks of musculoskeletal radiology, 4 weeks of cardiothoracic radiology, 12 weeks of breast radiology, 14 weeks of abdominal radiology (GI/GU and Body MRI), 8 weeks of pediatric radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital (ranked #1 children’s hospital in U.S. News & World Report), 10 weeks of ultrasonography, 16 weeks of nuclear radiology, 38 weeks of general radiology (ER, Late Stay, Night Float, and Day Float), 4 weeks of research, and a 4-week Radiologic Pathology Correlation Course at the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology in Washington, D.C.
