What did you do before medical school: More school, served as a missionary for my church for 2 years, travelled, and worked boring jobs.
Personal goals: I would like to travel just about everywhere in the world, hike the Appalachian trail, drive the pan-american highway, and hopefully watch BYU get another football national championship in my lifetime (that last one I can’t control… but I can hope really hard).
Why Maine Medical Center: It’s a great part of the country to live in and I was impressed by the Urology program during my interview. It’s lived up to the hype.
If I wasn’t a doctor, I would be an… astronaut. Hopefully. But I probably wouldn’t make the cut. So then I would end up as some kind of mildly disgruntled worker at NASA, happy with my job but always wondering what could have been while gazing to the stars. Or a lawyer. Who knows honestly.
