Our rehabilitation specialists offer post-operative and non-operative treatment for conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, and spine. Our fully-equipped facility includes an anti-gravity treadmill, a Woodway treadmill, a TechnoBody balance and stabilization system, IASTM tools, Shuttle systems, Life Fitness resistance and cardio equipment, and more to ensure your fast and safe recovery. Services include:

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)—specially designed tools to increase movement in scar tissue and myofascial adhesions. Our specialty-certified clinicians utilize several IASTM tools and techniques, including the Graston method.
  • Manual Therapy—specialized area of physical therapy utilized in the management of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Dry Needling—technique physical therapists use for the treatment of pain and movement impairments. The technique uses a "dry" needle, without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle.
  • Kinesio Tape—flexible enough for rehabilitation, durable enough to support working muscles and strong enough for athletes at any level. The tape provides optimized stimulation which allows the body’s natural healing power to do its work.
  • Vasopneumatic Devices (cold therapy)—reduces inflammation and swelling, decreases muscle spasms and can help relieve pain without narcotics. Cold therapy can be used immediately following injury or surgery and as-needed after that.
  • Video Gait Analysis—uses slow motion video to identify abnormalities in your gait cycle while walking or running that may be contributing to pain and/or performance barriers.
  • Concussion Rehabilitation—because no two concussions are the same, a physical therapist will examine you and prescribe a routine to address your particular symptoms and day-to-day needs.
  • Biofeedback Training—helps refine movement to help you achieve your goals. This technique helps patients learn to recognize and manage their own body signs.
  • Blood Flow Restriction Therapy (BFRT)—training method for the development of muscle strength and growth.
  • Return to Running—physical therapists advise runners on proper form, training methods, strategies for preventing injuries and proper shoe selection. Therapists work with patients to develop a successful running plan that is tailored to their specific needs. Physical therapists can also evaluate, diagnose and treat runners who have sustained a running-related injury.
  • Throwing Analysis—throwing, for example, baseball pitching, is one of the most intensely studied athletic motions. A physical therapist can help analyze your throwing mechanics from head to toe and develop a program to help improve any deficiencies that have been noted.
  • Golf Assessments—our golf program has been qualified as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). TPI is a PGA and LPGA approved, golf-specific training program that identifies physical limitations that may be contributing to swing flaws, injuries, and higher scores. Our providers will evaluate upper/lower body flexibility, posture, core stability, balance, and golf-specific mobility.
  • Bike Fit Analysis—we can adjust your bike to help prevent injuries, increase efficiency and comfort and improve performance.

Our sports psychology services focus on helping you get back to your optimal level of functioning, whether that’s in sports, work, or general life. Being injured, no matter how severe, can bring up a lot of emotions. Our team is here to support your adjustment to injury from a mental health perspective. From concussions to post-surgical recovery to chronic pain, learning how to adjust and cope can be difficult. But you don’t have to go through it alone. 

We also serve athletes of all ages who are not injured, but struggle with the emotional side of competition. Sports can be inherently stressful as pressure and expectations can lead to intense anxiety and negative self-judgment. Individuals are able to explore these issues in a safe, empathetic environment and learn skills related to “mental toughness” that allow them to overcome these struggles.
