KENNEBUNK, ME, May 13, 2022 – Southern Maine Health Care is pleased to announce that Kennebunk Walk-In Care at 2 Livewell Drive in Kennebunk will reopen on Monday, May 16.
The clinic’s initial hours will be Monday - Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm with the ultimate goal of returning to 7 days a week by the fall. The clinic has been closed since March 2020 when staff were redeployed to the Saco and Sanford Walk-In Centers to assist with the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are very excited to return these key services to Kennebunk”, says Nate Howell, SMHC President, “The team looks forward caring for the community’s urgent needs again. We are also so grateful to our walk-in staff who stepped up to help where they were needed during the pandemic - a true display of our values of excellence, ownership and patient-centeredness.”
The Kennebunk Walk-In Clinic - as the SMHC Saco, Sanford and Waterboro Walk-In locations - provides the following services:

• Dental pain
• Minor burns
• Urinary discomfort
• Cold/sore throat
• Eye infections
• Muscular back pain
• Sprains/strains
• Cough/congestion
• Ear aches
• Punctures/cuts
• Fever & flu
• Mild asthma
• Rash/skin irritation
