PORTLAND, Maine – On September 20, 2024, Maine Behavioral Healthcare (MBH) in collaboration with the Maine Association of the Deaf will offer an evening of conversation following a screening of the first episode of Morpheyes Studio’s docuseries, “Deaf and…” titled "Deaf Identity."
Deaf Identity showcases the many ways an individual may experience life being Deaf and how embracing our different journeys makes us stronger as a community. Following the film, a panel of experts will share their insights on Deaf identity and how it impacts the community, families, and caregivers.
