NORTH CONWAY, N.H. — MaineHealth Memorial Hospital has named Tricia G. Costigan, MBA, FACHE, as its new president. Costigan, a seasoned health care executive, brings extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning and operational efficiency to her new role.

Costigan most recently served as senior vice president and president of Northern Light Inland Hospital and Continuing Care Lakewood in Waterville, Maine. She previously held leadership roles as executive director of the Medical Group at Saratoga Hospital in New York and division administrator at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

“Tricia has a strong track record of driving improvements in patient care, financial performance and hospital culture,” said Christopher Perley, chair of the MaineHealth Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees. “Her leadership aligns perfectly with our mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the communities we serve.”

Costigan is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and has served on multiple health care and community boards. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Saint Leo University in Florida. Additionally, she served as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy.

Costigan succeeds Bradley Chapman, who departed earlier this year to pursue a leadership opportunity with a health care system in western New York and Pennsylvania.

“We are excited to welcome Tricia to the MaineHealth family,” said Trampas Hutches, MaineHealth mountain region president. “We are confident her expertise and vision will further strengthen Memorial Hospital’s role as a trusted health care provider in the Mount Washington Valley.”
