Portland, ME – On July 16, 2025, MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) will hold a benefit from 5:30 – 8 pm to raise funds for mental health services at the annual Signs of Hope fundraiser at the Portland Country Club, 11 Foreside Road, Falmouth, ME. The event is co-hosted by longtime supporter and member of the MHBH Philanthropy Committee, Falmouth resident Sheri Boulos.

The keynote speaker, Erin St. John, MHBH patient is a person with alcohol use disorder living in long-term sobriety.  He will share his inspirational story of hope to rebuild his life and regain the trust of family and friends throughout his journey of recovery.

As part of Signs of Hope, recent graduates of the MaineHealth Nurse Residency and Psychiatric Technician apprentice programs will be honored. Both programs represent innovative ways MaineHealth Behavioral Health is meeting the growing demands for mental health services.

This year’s event seeks to raise $190,000 to provide unrestricted support that helps enable MHBH to continue offering a complete behavioral and mental healthcare network serving communities within the MaineHealth system of care.

Registration is required with a suggested donation of $150 per guest. A generous variety of appetizers, refreshing beverages, and cocktails will be available.
