Barbara A Heyl, PA

I completed undergraduate work in Virginia and my Physician Assistant (PA) education at George Washington University. After working in Annapolis, MD for one year, I then completed a Surgical Residency at Norwalk Hospital and Yale University. I remained as a staff PA for several years before moving to Maine in 1988. I have been working in pediatric and adult cardiothoracic surgery for 30 years. I love all aspects  of Cardiac Surgery including teaching, mentorship and most especially direct patient care. During my career, I have been on 18 mission trips throughout Central America and China.
