Kathleen A McGarr, MD She/Her
- Family Medicine

As a family medicine physician, I have had the honor of taking care of families across their lifespan and from the hospital to out into the office, school, community, and even sleep-away summer camp. My favorite time to take care of a family is when they welcome a new baby. Primary care begins with prenatal care.
Recently, I have had the opportunity to focus my practice on hospital medicine at Maine Medical Center. I care for patients across the age span, welcoming them in the Birth Center as well as guiding families through end-of-life care choices. Through my work with family medicine residents, as well as Tufts Maine Track and UNE medical students, I get to share my experience as I teach the caregivers of tomorrow.
