Emily V Wood, MD
- Infectious Disease
I grew up in Maine and graduated from Bowdoin College and Tufts University School of Medicine. During my residency at Maine Medical Center, I developed my interest in the specialty of Infectious Disease. I am drawn to the concept of taking a thorough and thoughtful approach when investigating the causes of a patient's symptoms, and I enjoy considering a wide variety of conditions. Learning about my patients is both fascinating to me and essential to providing outstanding care. I also serve as the Program Director for the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program at Maine Medical Center and am honored to participate in the teaching of the Internal Medicine residents and the Tufts medical students.
