Neurology is a very complex and often puzzling part of medicine, which is what attracted me to becoming a specialist. I am particularly intrigued by how the immune system communicates with the nervous system, leading to conditions such as multiple sclerosis. I enjoy meeting a large variety of patients, listening to their symptoms and together reaching a mutually agreed upon treatment plan that makes sense and they feel comfortable with. I believe in providing care that focuses on treating the whole person and not just the diagnosis, building a more meaningful and long standing relationship with patients.
