I was born and raised in New York where I completed my medical education at the rigorous 7-year program, Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education-Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. After obtaining my medical degree, I completed my internal medicine training at Hofstra-Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York and my cardiology training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, where I also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.
My focus is on clinical cardiology and cardiac imaging, including nuclear and echocardiographic testing. Clinical cardiology is a vast specialty, and I have found a keen interest in patients with endocarditis. I have established a Multidisciplinary Endocarditis Team at Maine Medical Center to offer the best cardiac care to this sensitive population. I am also interested in cardio-obstetrics, which provides critical care to pregnant women with underlying cardiac issues.
I look forward to working with my colleagues in providing the very best cardiac care our Mainers deserve!
