- Physician Assistant
As a native Mainer, I am grateful to return to my home state to practice as a physician assistant at MaineHealth. My approach is to get to know my patients well so that we can practice shared decision making in their dermatologic care. Previous to my return to Maine, I practiced for 15 years focusing on the detection and management of skin cancer in Seattle, WA. In addition to patient care, I have a passion for teaching the next generation of physician assistants. I taught at the University of Washington's MEDEX PA Program and am currently an adjunct professor at the University of New England PA Program in Portland, Maine. In my free time, I love spending time in the great outdoors with my husband, two kids and two dogs and trying all the good food and drink in the greater Portland area, including, of course, lobster.
