What is pediatric orthopedics?

Pediatric orthopedics is the treatment of bone and muscle conditions in infants, children, and teenagers. The first step to treatment is getting an evaluation for your child to find the cause of the problem.

Your family healthcare provider may refer your child to a specialist for additional tests, diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation.
