LSVT Treatment

The Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) is for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders. LSVT-certified therapists take patients through the intensive voice therapy program to improve voice and speech.

LSVT BIG treatment / LSVT BIG rehabilitation

LSVT BIG is a treatment for people with Parkinson's disease. Treatment is administered in 16 sessions over a single month. There are four hour-long sessions per week. Therapists train people with Parkinson’s disease to increase the size of their movements (moving big).  LSVT BIG is to improve how you move, turn and walk for better speed, balance, and quality of life.

LSVT LOUD treatment / LSVT LOUD rehabilitation

LSVT LOUD is a treatment for individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) and other neurological conditions.  Similar to LSVT BIG, treatment is done in 16 sessions over a single month (four 60-minute treatments per week).

The goal is to improve vocal loudness, intonation, and voice quality by stimulating the muscles of the voice box (larynx) and speech mechanism through exercise.  A physician's referral is required for treatment.
