  • Expertise in integrating mental health treatment in primary-care pediatric practices

Glickman Family Center

In 2007, Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook received a $1,000,000 gift from Judy and Al Glickman of Cape Elizabeth to establish the Glickman Family Center for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Spring Harbor Hospital. The Center comprises the youth mental health programs of Spring Harbor Hospital and the Maine Medical Center Department of Psychiatry, all overseen by a single Chief of Psychiatry.

A Medical Chair endowed by the Glickmans ensures the Center’s strategic focus, while its groundbreaking research and best practices are shared at an annual Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Symposium, also made possible by the Glickman family.

Dr. Robyn Ostrander guides the development of the most comprehensive array of treatment, physician training and research programs in youth psychiatry in Northern New England. She also oversees the annual Glickman Family Center for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Symposium – the region’s most authoritative on the practice of child and adolescent psychiatry, drawing top professionals from Maine and other national centers of excellence in child psychiatry.

Through their generosity, the Glickmans have ensured the leadership, vision, and resources to make The Glickman Family Center at Spring Harbor Hospital the region’s premier destination for high quality youth mental health treatment, and a source of hope for the thousands of young people and families who rely on its programs. On their behalf, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Glickman family.
