The MaineHealth Stephens Hospital Grant Program supports local non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in their implementation of sustainable health care initiatives in our service area.
2025 grant recipients
- Lights Out Gallery – $5,000
- Support for the Arts & Connection Outreach Initiative, expanding low-barrier arts programming that reduces social isolation and supports mental well-being
- Camp Susan Curtis – $2,500
- Support to help provide economically disadvantaged youth from Oxford County the opportunity to attend a transformative summer camp experience
- Maine Dragon Boat Club – $2,500
- Support for community-based fitness and well-being programming that promotes physical and psychological health
- Community Concepts – $5,000
- Support for the Health Literacy Project, serving families in Head Start and Early Head Start programs and strengthening preventive care knowledge and appropriate health care utilization
- Safe Voices – $8,000
- Support to maintain 24-hour Helpline advocacy and support services for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual exploitation and sex trafficking
- Helping Hearts of Western Maine – $2,500
- Support to provide hygiene items and essential supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship
- Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative (WMARI) – $4,000
- Support for the “Taking Recovery on the Road” transportation program, helping reduce barriers to treatment and recovery services
- Alan Day Community Garden – $3,000
- Support for after-school cooking and food security programs serving local children and families
