Wound Care

It’s Time to Heal

Being healthy and active are two of life’s great pleasures. For people who have wounds that will not heal, life can lose enjoyment. Diabetes or other health conditions may be contributing to a wound that will not heal, causing pain, fear, and a reduced ability to get around. But there is good news. Effective treatments can help heal wounds, and that’s what the Stephens Memorial Hospital Regional Wound Care program is all about. Our team of wound care specialists, doctors, nurses, therapists, and other medical professionals, use the latest, most advanced treatments to help wounds heal resulting in better health for you and in turn a more enjoyable life!

Our Program

There are many medical conditions, even ones that you may not be aware of, that cause non-healing wounds. We will perform a series of diagnostic tests and once a cause is clearly identified and understood, we inform your primary care physician. We will then work with them to develop your wound treatment plan. We have extensive experience with some of the most advanced treatments available for healing wounds.

We Work With Your Doctor

We work with you and your doctor as a team, to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs. Treatment could begin during your first appointment.

Making an appointment is the first step to getting better. Ask your doctor to contact us, or feel free to call us yourself at 207-393-3454.
