Evelyn S. and K.E. Barrett Foundation Awards $75K to Support Pediatric Patients

The Evelyn S. and K.E. Barrett Foundation has awarded a $75,000 grant to the MaineHealth Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (MHBBCH) to help meet the physical and emotional needs of pediatric patients and their families. The grant will also fund a new Childhood Support Specialist (CSS) position in York and Cumberland counties.

MaineHealth Welcomes Baby New Year!

MaineHealth welcomed its first baby of the new year at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland! Michael Nathan Maiato was born at 2:55 a.m. to Paige and Joe Maiato of Kennebunk. Michael weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.4 inches long.
