There's more than one type of emergency, and more than one place for emergency care. For major emergencies and traumas, your best choice is the Emergency Department at Maine Medical Center's Bramhall Street Campus, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For minor accidents and illnesses, MMC's Brighton FirstCare offers urgent care from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. Because we specialize in minor emergencies, we can offer faster service to to get you back home quicker.
When your doctor isn't available, or when you don't have a doctor in the area, Brighton FirstCare has emergency-trained physicians and nurses who will tend to you and your family as quickly as possible. All information of your urgent care visit is recorded and can be easily forwarded to your regular doctor for follow-up care.
With our onsite Radiology department, there is no need for transfer if an X-ray, CT Scan or ultrasound are needed as part of your care on weekdays.
