Laboratory Services | MaineHealth Memorial Hospital

The MaineHealth Memorial Hospital Lab provides expert testing services in North Conway, NH. Our full-service lab is open all day, every day providing outpatient care as well as immediate response to the MaineHealth Memorial Hospital emergency department and acute inpatient needs. We are accredited by the State of New Hampshire and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

We offer diagnostic and therapeutic testing for chemistry, blood bank, immunology, hematology, microbiology, coagulation and pathology. Services include:

  • Coverage of lab services by most insurance companies

  • Immediate electronic transmission of completed test results to MaineHealth Memorial Hospital providers

Scheduling: Outpatient lab procedures are available on a walk-in basis. No appointment is needed.

Registration: Please stop at the main hospital registration window before proceeding to the lab reception office to complete the check-in process. If your require lab work ordered by multiple providers during one visit, please tell us when you register.

Lab Orders: You may also bring printed lab orders with your, ask your provider to fax your lab order to us, or ask your provider to submit your lab order online via EPIC (MaineHealth providers only). You may want to call us before your appointment to make sure your provider has submitted the appropriate orders. 

Billing: Please contact your insurance company to discuss any coverage questions before lab services are delivered. You are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance company.

Patient Privacy: To maintain patient privacy, our team is not permitted to release lab results or other protected health information directly to patients. Lab results will be sent to the ordering provider and will also be available in your MyChart account, if you have one.
